His funeral service - which is restricted to family and close friends - is to be held on Thursday 8 February at St Peter’s Church on Lytham Road at 12:30 followed by a private committal.
For those wishing to pay their respects, a funeral cortege will pass through Blackpool football ground at 12:00 where the service will be broadcast on loudspeakers.
A memorial service will be arranged for a date in the future.
